About Me.

I started Sing for Life, PLLC in 2022 while pregnant with my 2nd daughter. After years of using my expertise in serving kids, individuals, and families with trauma, I decided, for the first time, to begin to take care of myself. This workaholic, perfectionistic, independent woman was burned out! I would soon find out that I wasn't the only one. So many other female professionals had unique, but vastly similar, stories of neglecting their needs to achieve respect and acknowledgement in systems often built for burnout.  Although I will always welcome having and serving clients of all backgrounds, the decision to niche down to BIPOC came with the awareness that having a culturally competent and understanding clinician can make all the difference in the lives of those who may initially feel uncomfortable with traditional therapy. I, even as a Licensed Therapist, had to let so many concepts go, seek harmony with my internal voice, and decide what life I wanted outside of society's box, with no one's permission but mine. It's been a wild ride, and now that I'm freer than ever, I'm on a mission to help others on that same journey.
